• Letter sent home about Cake Walk/Bake Sale Student Council Fundraiser for Make a Wish Foundation this Thursday. 
• Letter sent home about Stittsville Minor Softball 2010 Registration
• No school this Friday for students.  It’s a P.A. Day.
• No school for students and teachers next Monday.  It’s Family Day.

Students in 5NT are designing egg protectors using limited materials.  They’re hoping their egg won’t look like this after being dropped from a height of 2.5 metres.

• The student council has organized a Cake Walk/Bake Sale this Friday, February 11, to raise money for the Make a Wish Foundation.  Donated nut and peanut free cakes and baked goods are welcome.  I’ll make sure the letter goes home tomorrow.

I love rocks and minerals! They are in things that you probably didnt know like: cars,telephones, jewelry, clothes, computers, houses, people and even toothpaste! ick! Do you know your birthstone? Some people believe it is lucky to wear a gem of their birthstone. My birthstone is the Aquamarine. January: Garnet. February: Amethyst. March: Aquamarine. April: Diamond. May: Emerald. June: Pearl. July: Ruby. August: Peridot. September: Sapphire. October: Opal. November: Topaz. December: Turquoise.

We cannot see this but about 25 tons of dust rains down on Earth every day. This dust comes from space. Sometimes a rock hits earth; this is called a meteorite. Most meteors are the size of a small pebble.

I love crystals because they are pretty and shiny. I love pretty much anything that is shiny. The word crystal comes from the Greek word kyros, wich means “icy cold.”  The ancient Greeks thought quartz crystals were made from ice that had frozen so hard it could not melt. Some people believe that certain crystals have special powers. Jade is thought to help relaxation, lapis lazuli to help friendships.

I can’t write any more because I have to go to my brother’s hockey game. I do have LOTS more I could say but bye.

I also like Party in the USA by miley cyrus but my ULTIMAT FAVOURITE SONG IS…(drum roll please, rofl) fireflies by owl city! I like different kinds of music like country, pop, rock and electrica. The only kind of country music I like is taylor swift.What is your favourite song?

My favourite book is called Harriet’s hare by: Dick King-Smith!

Harriet’s Hare is about a girl named Harriet and she finds a alien from space named Wiz, wiz’s friends abandoned him so he is stuck on earth. Wiz is disguisedas a hare but he can change into anything that he wants to. Harriet and wiz have to find a way to get wizback to his planet of pars without  anyone else finding out about him.but in the end everything tuns outgreat!

I would recomendthis book to anyone bacauseI think that it is a great book, that is not very long but is very exciting and interesting and you will want to read it over and over again.

A baby named Billy.Wants to destroy Deputy Dangerous because he is trying to steal Super Diaper Baby`s powers. Super Diaper Baby ends up defeating Deputy Dangerous and bring him to Uranus.

I like how they destroyed Deputy Doo-Doo rap in toilet paper. It was a funny book.

My new best friend is Sydney!

We play together all of the time at recess. Sydney is weird just like me. Lol, Rofl!!!! double lol!!!! And she always makes me laugh. And to top it off Sydney is the bestest friend that I have ever had in the whole 11 years  that I have lived!!! GO SYDNEY GO GO GO…… WAIT FOR IT GO SYDNEY!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOW

Kayla is so weird………..I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! She is also so funny and nice and she is a good friend to me….I need a second (crying)…. Ok I am good now!!! And we both like poking people with sticks.
