Swimming

Today I had my first swimming lesson in a  long time at the GRC.  I am learning IVO’s [whip kicks], front and back strokes.   Most of the time when I was there we played games like bombs away swim to the bottom of the deep-end and get the ring.  I have taken swimming lessons at the G.R.C. (Goulbourn Rec Center) a few times and it  is one of my favorite sports.  I swim at my cottage a lot in the summer and do some snorkeling and wanted to take some more lessons because I wanted to be a stronger swimmer and I miss swimming in the winter.

    What a great post with a perfect image! I wish I could go swimming right now! It is 70˚ F here in sunny California.

    The way you play Bombsaway is oneperson counts 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 bombsaway and d then you jump in faceing the person and then you try and jump out as fast as you can there is not really any porpuse .Its just a fun little game you could use it as a warm up if you wanted to

    I love swimming too.I feel so free in the water!I use to take swimming lessons, but i didn’t pas because i was to afraid to jump in the deep end.
