Here are some facts Katherine, Greg, Ryan, and Evan decided were important to share after doing reading stations today:

Evan:  Salivary glands produce 1.4 litres of spit.
Greg:  The liver is the 2nd biggest organ.
Katherine:  The esophagus is also called the gullet and it is about 25 cm long.
Ryan:  Teeth mush up food to make it easier to go down the esophagus.

The book i’m reading is Deltora, by Emily Rodda. Deltora is a awesome book with lots of life and death moments. (My favorite!)

There are three series of Deltora, but I am only going to talk about one. Ahem. DRAGONS OF DELTORA!: Leif didn’t destroy the shadow lord yet.

His power is in the four sisters of the north, south, east, and west.

It’s up to Lief, Barda, and Jasmine and the last seven dragons to stop them!

There are strange creachers, magic, and awesome people!

Go ahead, read it!

Materials:  you need: 4 or more people and a medium sized field.(set a time limit.)

  1. First: some people will be cops and the rest will be robbers.
  2. Then: the cops job is to chase, and the robbers job is to run away.
  3. Next: if a robber is caught he must go to jail.
  4. After: a robber can be free when another robber touches him.
  5. Then: you can only be at jail if you’re caught.
  6. Finally: if all the robbers are caught the cops win, if robbers are still free at the end of the game the robbers win.
