The Mysterious Benedict society by Trenton Lee Stewart is a really nice book and it has a ton of riddles. That is where I learned about narcolepsy ( Sudden ,not very long bouts of sleep triggered by strong emotions)It is about a group of gifted children who go to an illegal institute to act as spys for Mr.Benedict. My favorite part is the 3rd test the mysterious benidict society takes to become Mr. Benedict’s spies. ( There rectangles!) This storys main characters are;

-Reynard Muldoon, otherwise known as Reynie he has really good intuition, and can figure out very hard riddles.

-Kate Whetheral, or Kate, She left to join the circus when the was very young, so she has lots of energy.

-George Washington, or Sticky, he remembers everything he reads, which is amazing, seeing as he reads  half an alcamac in the time it takes Reynie to brush his teeth.

-Constace Contraire, or Constance, she id grumpy, short, whines and sleeps nonstop and can read people minds.

I recommend this book.

materials:

House

You

trumpets or other loud instruments.

1. Get into the walls.

2. Gather supplies in  one place.

3. On a dark night go out of the walls making noise with the instruments.

4. They should promptly leave.

Materials: Playstructure

At least 3 people

Steps:First chose somone to be it. Everyone else scrambles onto the play structure. The It person counts to ten.

Then the it person close their eyes and goes onto the play structure, keeping their eyes closed. They have to keep their eyes closed while they are on the playstucture.

Next the person trys to catch people on the playstucture. If the person thinks there are people on the sand they can call out sand man and if people are on the sand they are it. They can also make other people it by touching them.

After that the next person is it the next person, another person is it if the first It person catches them. That continuse on and on.

then people get tired and leave.

There was a newspaper article I was meaning to write about for a while now. Here’s the story.

There was a lady going to the hospital to give birth. She began to give birth. But then she died. The doctors were able to deliver her baby, but he died too. They were both very dead for four minutes. Their hearts were not beating. then they came back to life. At the same time.

That is so weird!

1. First I would ask If I could have her spot.

2.Next I would round up my siblings to play a game of zues on the loose.

3.Next I would ask mom if she wanted to play.

4. Next I would get lots of noise makers and parade around making noise.

5. Next I would ask mom what we are having for supper.

6. Next I would ask mom if she would like some tea.

7. If she says yes set about making tea and when the water boils ask for help pouring.

8. Bolt for her spot.

9. If none of the previous steps work, its time to give up.

A couple weeks ago some very weird things happened. When my little brother woke up there was a book beside him. Mom said that when she went upstairs she saw light from under his door. He had no memory of getting up and reading. (or so he says…) My older sister was sleeping with little Rumble cat, and when mom went up to get him, my older sister was asleep and she sleep-tried-to-keep Rumble. I did something I had done before, but it was weird nonetheless. I woke up doing the genie sit. (No wonder I felt sore that day!) Those were some very weird sleeping things, all in one night!

My cat called Rumble has taken to doing something very funny. If there’s a ladder anywhere in the house, up he goes. It  started when dad was checking the attic. Rumble climbed the ladder and went into the attic. Dad got him out, but Rumble was awfully scared. Today dad was putting the Christmas lights up in their room. There was a ladder. So of course Rumble climbed right up that ladder. It was funny. He did need help to get down though. The most recent ladder climbing did not lead any where so Rumble was just exited, not scared. It was funny!
