It’s true: students in Mr. Toft’s class still do work on the second last day of school. In the morning following French we had a linking cube tower challenge:
This was followed by the much anticipated final episode of the 2nd Voyage of the Mimi. I always enjoy seeing the bad guy, Harvey Westerman, get what he serves.
After that we had another challenge. This time it was to build a structure using spaghetti and mini marshmallows. It had to be strong enough to hold up a single large marshmallow. I’m not sure which more difficult, building the structure or resisting the urge to eat all of the building materials!
Whoo-Hoo Found it and brought it to school today,I have nothing to worry about! And it was reptiles not aligators. It was in my school bag the whole time.I feel lucky that I found it before school ended!
I was really impressed with how seriously the class took play one another’s ancient civilization games. Everyone put a great deal of time and effort into creating them and it was fun to finally see them played. We’ll invite Mr. Baird’s class over tomorrow to play them one last time before they go home.
If we wrote in our agendas, which we didn’t, we would have written:
